Where will you be serving exactly?
I will be serving on staff at Black Forest Academy. This is a faith based boarding school located in the Kandern Valley, on the edge of the Black Forest. This school was built to serve missionary families all over the world by offering an option for high class education, intentional discipleship, and Christ-centered community for their children.
What will your role be?
I will be serving as a Resident Assistant in one of Black Forest Academy’s student dorms. The responsibilities of this role are to provide adult oversight in the dorm, provide spiritual guidance and support to students, and to preform weekly tasks to help keep the dorm operating efficiently
Why should I get involved?
There are thousands of Missionary Families all over the world serving in countless different cultural contexts. Black Forest Academy exists to provide an option for education that many of these families would not have clear access too otherwise. You could play a part in providing just ONE option for these families to see their children thrive in a school environment designed specifically with them in mind.
